# Code of Conduct

## Our Standard

Sorokeep is a small, technical project. The bar is simple: be someone other contributors want to work with.

- Give feedback on the code, not the person
- Assume good faith — most confusing PRs and issues come from a language barrier, time zone gap, or missing context, not bad intent
- Disagree on technical approach openly, but back it with reasoning (this is why we ask for ADRs on significant decisions — it turns "I don't like this" into "here's the tradeoff")
- No harassment, personal attacks, discriminatory language, or unwelcome sexual attention, in issues, PRs, discussions, or any project space

## Scope

This applies to all project spaces — GitHub issues, pull requests, discussions — and to any other venue where someone is representing the project (e.g., speaking about sorokeep at a conference or in a community Discord).

## Enforcement

If someone violates these standards, report it privately to the maintainer via a [GitHub Security Advisory](https://github.com/AbdulmalikAlayande/sorokeep/security/advisories/new) (used here as a private-by-default channel, not just for vulnerabilities) or by opening a private conversation with a repository maintainer.

Maintainers will review reports, respond within a reasonable time, and take action proportional to the issue — ranging from a private warning to removal from the project's spaces for repeat or severe violations.
